I say beatdown all the way. Pity won't help this guy.
If you're wondering who I am, I was randomly shuffling through blogs when I found this one, and I was instantly enamored with the idea of a blog devoted exclusively to who needs beatings, and with what they should be beaten.
Err, did I sleep with that guy???? Naw, he would have been driving a truck....

Was the "guy" a 16 year old kid? Maybe Mom and Dad bought little Joel a Vette and thought it would be cute if everybody knew it was their baby driving around town.
